Points System
The points system is the core of StreamForge. It tracks viewer engagement by awarding points for actions on your channel, giving you a clear picture of your most active community members.
How It Works
When a viewer performs an action on your Twitch channel — subscribing, gifting subs, cheering bits, following, or raiding — StreamForge automatically awards them points based on your configured rules. Points accumulate over time and are used to:
- Rank viewers on your leaderboard
- Trigger automatic VIP rewards
- Contribute to event goals (subathons, milestones)
Default Point Values
Every new StreamForge workspace starts with these default point values. You can customize them at any time in Settings → Points.
| Action | Points |
|---|---|
| Subscribe (Tier 1) | 500 |
| Subscribe (Tier 2) | 1000 |
| Subscribe (Tier 3) | 2500 |
| Gift Sub | 750 |
| Cheer (per 100 bits) | 100 |
| Follow | 50 |
| Raid | 300 |
Customizing Point Rules
To change point values for any action:
- Go to your Dashboard
- Navigate to Settings → Points
- Adjust the point value for each action type
- Click Save — changes take effect immediately
Viewer Leaderboard
The leaderboard ranks all tracked viewers by their total points. You can:
- View the leaderboard from your dashboard
- Filter by date range (all time, monthly, weekly)
- Share a public leaderboard URL with your community
- Display the leaderboard as an OBS overlay
How Points Are Calculated
Points are calculated in real time as events arrive from the Twitch API:
- Subscriptions — Points are awarded based on the subscription tier
- Gift subs — The gifter receives points for each gift sub
- Cheers — Points are awarded per 100-bit increments
- Follows — A one-time point award when a user follows
- Raids— Points are awarded to the raiding channel's broadcaster
