VIP Management

Automatically reward your most engaged viewers with Twitch VIP status. Set up rules once and let StreamForge handle the rest.

How VIP Rules Work

VIP rules define the criteria for granting or revoking VIP status on your channel. When a viewer meets the criteria, StreamForge automatically updates their VIP status through the Twitch API.

You can create multiple rules, and a viewer only needs to match one rule to receive VIP.

Rule Types

Points Threshold

Grant VIP to any viewer who reaches a certain point total. For example, “Grant VIP to anyone with 5,000+ points.”

Subscription Tier

Grant VIP based on subscription tier. For example, “Grant VIP to all Tier 2+ subscribers.”

Custom Rules

Combine multiple conditions for more specific criteria. Custom rules let you mix points, subscription status, and other factors.

Automatic vs. Manual VIP

StreamForge supports both automatic and manual VIP management:

  • Automatic — VIP status is granted and revoked automatically as viewers meet or fall below your rule criteria
  • Manual — You can manually grant or revoke VIP for any viewer from the dashboard, overriding automatic rules
💡 Tip
Manual VIP overrides are preserved even when automatic rules run. If you manually grant VIP to someone, they won't lose it unless you manually revoke it.

VIP History & Tracking

StreamForge keeps a complete history of all VIP changes:

  • When VIP was granted or revoked
  • Which rule triggered the change (or if it was manual)
  • A full audit log per viewer

Access VIP history from VIP Management → History in your dashboard.

Ignore Lists

Sometimes you want to exclude certain viewers from VIP rules — for example, bots or alternative accounts. The ignore list lets you:

  • Prevent specific usernames from being auto-granted VIP
  • Exclude viewers from leaderboard rankings
  • Manage the list from Settings → Ignore List
